What the Snow?

So this morning Kevin, Jen, and I sopped by the gallery to meet with a client, then we were of antiquing! Which did bring some treasures and an awesome contact! Anywho, as we were leaving the snow started and made our trip at least twice as long. It has snowed so much already, I think this looks like it will be worse then that "Snowmagedon" that never happened... pshh.

Anyway since I knew the days plans I wanted to wear something casual, warm and comfy. What's more perfect then my Gpa's wool Navy Pants?! Paired with a corduroy blazer and scarf as an ascot, I felt very 70s scholarly. And about Navy pants, do you know the 13 buttons represent the 13 colonies, and they are wide leg "bell bottoms" because if a sailor fell in the water he needed to be able to take his pants off without removing his boots so he could hopefully swim to safety. Now you know. And if you already knew I will send you a cookie.

Also does my site take a long time to load on your end? I've had a couple complaints about that, and honestly I'm already annoyed with my layout and need a new one.

Please leave snow.

This is such a darling outfit! I think the scarf really pulls it all together. I didn't know all of that about the navy pants. So interesting.

You looks amazing, like Annie Hall! The sailor pants fit you so well and those were some intriguing facts about them. You're inspiring and informative as always!

What a lovely preppy outfit! I love the pop of color the scarf gives against your wonderful blazer :) You're so pretty!

Lauren--I do sometimes have a bit of a pause while photos load, but the site comes right up. I hadn't known all this about bellbottoms. Very interesting.

Such a great outfit Lauren, totally in love with those amazing trousers! Living in Norway I should love snow (and I do), but I don't envy the amaounts you are getting despite the prettines of it.
