On the 9th Day of Christmas...

My True Love Gave to Me...

Nine Ladies Dancing!

Ok, so don't judge, I really don't know how to do ballet well. I pretend to know :) These pointe shoes I grabbed from my mom's when I was down home, they were a semi broken in pair of hers from when she was my age. My mom is a ballerina! I'm sure she will disagree but she is uber graceful and I mean come on, she did pointe. I'm really wanting to look for another ballet class near by, the last class I took was so far away.

So instead of doing something really girlie I wore a very plain outfit of black :) Complete with a black cropped sweatshirt with a wide neck. Felt kinda flash-dancey.

I'm in love with this. Your dance poses are so like... okay this is gonna sound cheesy, but they're so vibrant and raw! Seriously, TOTALLY loving all of this. Those tights are perfect -- kinda sexy, kinda sweet. It all reminds me of Black Swan, but not in a creepy way. OR DOES IT. <3

Do you dance too, or just your mom?

I love how that dress shows off your back

love it! i have always loved ballet but since my ballet teacher told me my back was too curved to be a ballerina (when i was five!) I gave up hope of ever being a dancer. that's quite all right, it saved me a lot of pain and heartbreak i'm sure--i definitely don't have a ballerina body and i don't like pain!

I love the ballerina pictures! Your outfit is perfect for a ballerina. I love the open back of the leotard.

oh how gorgeous. I just made an entry that is ballerina inspired too in a way. Wish I saw this entry before. it is lovely to see people dancing and in toe shoes in general. goodness blisters and cramped feet are beautiful and are fun.
