LA pt. 1: Rehearsal

So I'm breaking up my LA trip into 3 parts,
1: Rehearsal, 2: Wedding, 3: Recreation.
All the posts will be very photo heavy I'm sorry!!

Rehearsal

Last week and weekend I was in LA for Kevin's (my boyfriend) brothers wedding which he was a groomsman. So cute. We stayed at an amazing Hostel in West Hollywood right next door to some of my friends, the hostel was Orbit on Melrose, I highly recommend it, everyone was so nice there.

So for post #1 here are some pictures of the Rehearsal Dinner and then after when I met up with some of my college buddies. The square photos were taken with the app Hiptasmatic on my iPhone, I know I'm such a hipster I even use foursquare... hehe

The restaurant was C&O Cucina in Marina del Rey in LA. It was sooo good, I have a burrito for lunch at Paco's Tacos (super yummy too) so I was still stuffed when it came to dinner... I wanted to eat soo much but held back. We had a large party so it was all family style dinning, they brought tons of dishes out and we all dove in. Very good!

The dress I wore was my mom's from the 70's that she made. She actually wore it to her own rehearsal dinner. HA! How funny is that. It's a beautiful halter, and the fabric is amazing, it isn't made anymore she says. But alas I don't have that good of an image so I have a substitute image of the pattern (I've taken pictures of most all my dresses for my own reference hehe)

Wow, the pattern is crazy. It's so special that your mum made it and wore it at her own rehersal.

P.s. I like the outfit post before this one.

What a fantastic dress! I love that your wearing a vintage creation made by your mother!
