So I wore this number on Thursday. We had a big presentation in the gallery so I wanted to be cute but also comfortable since the presentation involved carrying artwork. I also had to clean up in the morning. This outfit proved to be versatile in allowing me to get my work done. It was great for a super busy day at work... I even forgot to have lunch it was that crazy. Oh and sorry for the eh photos, Jen was using my point and shoot and for some reason they all turned out very washed out and blurry, oh well. And as you can see this is the last time of me styling up Ebony's skirt. Now it's on it's way back to it's homeland. Bye comfy skirt! Here are the styled ways so far!

Still Computerless

Still Computerless

Well I'm still computerless so pardon my delay in responding to comments. It's pretty sad without the comp, I've become so attached. *tear* Luckily I have Kevin's computer to the rescue, even though it's a PC, hehe.

Anyway Sara took these photos and you can see I'm wearing Ebony's skirt from our Here to There trade. Now it's going off to Chloe this weekend and then back to it's Mom, Ebs. :)




The bracelet Kevin got for me from 323 East Gallery which showcases local and national lowbrow art (like in Juxtapoz and HiFructose). I love it, it's actually adjustable... Little belt bracelet :) Oh and that's a close up on a ring my mom finally gave me, it was my great grandma's and when my grandma passed I got this. I love it, it's white gold with teeny diamonds. I should do a post about the family jewelery I have, it keeps me close to my past.

And you probably can't tell but this was from tuesday when I found out my hard drive went copput. I had been crying but Sara made me feel better and I put on this happy face. I'm still frustrated because I don't know what's going on with my computer and hard drive, it's now thursday night and I still haven't heard from the store. Hope everything is ok. :(

Over the past weekend Kev and I, along with Ian and Antoin ventured to Blake's Orchard for a day of Hayrides, Barn yard animals, creepy animatronics from ages ago, bunnies, and of coarse picking pumpkins.

So without further ado I give a poop load of pictures.





 

Being eaten by a creepy christmas tree then dancing a jig to Dueling Banjos being played over the loud speaker. Kevin really didn't like going into strange buildings with that playing, so I danced to make him feel better.



 

Can you say creepy? She's missing hair!! And why is there a naked man taking a bath? Who takes their children here? haha


 

I went a little plaid and pattern crazy, I'm sorry if it hurts the eyes!

There just Happened to be a gourd laying between two pumpkins, so of course the boys giggled and posed... How old are they? Haha













Well times were fun, and I love hanging out with the guys. They were of course giddy hanging out with each other and laughing at grade school humor. But it was really cute. The whole day was filled with laughter, and in the end of the night we stopped in Romeo and sat at the only place that was open and drank some coffee. I had so much fun.

When I turn 100 & Art Shows

When I turn 100 & Art Shows

Onto the clothes. Last week I helped hang the "Our Town" exhibit in the Birmingham Community House. It's a yearly show featuring Michigan artists and jurors go around after it's hung and give out ribbons and such. Since I helped hang the show I was able to attend the opening which was super swanky. So Kevin, Jen, and I dressed up and rubbed elbows with rich people while we got free food and drinks.






Later we went around the old house and took pictures of us posing with art like it was ours.





We felt that this hallway deserved a picture in homage to the Shining, I mean really can't you see the twins "Come play with us."

It was pretty fun.
